FAQ
If your organization uses Slack but you need to connect with other companies on Discord (or vice versa), StartADAM can help. Connect your preferred tool to StartADAM and invite other organizations to join in using whichever tool they prefer. If you rely on Discord servers for your day to day, connect us to Discord and your colleagues can join from any tool they like (even another Discord!)
To start using StartADAM, authenticate your Slack account by clicking ‘Let’s go’ and logging in. Once authenticated, you'll have access to the StartADAM bot, where you can create communication groups that include contacts on various platforms like Discord, Microsoft Teams, SMS, Telegram, and even Whatsapp. Again, if you rely on Discord for your day to day, just authenticate us with your Discord server!
You can invite any reasonable number of people into a StartADAM group, and they can join from any tools they like. Whether your colleagues prefer Discord, Slack, Whatsapp, or another tool, they can collaborate in the same channel.
With StartADAM Connect, you can create cross-platform communication groups and invite your Discord contacts to join your Slack account (and vice versa). You can also take advantage of StartADAM’s integrations with productivity tools like Trello and Jira.
To use StartADAM, your IT or Server administrator will need to authenticate your company's Slack or Discord account by clicking ‘Let’s go’ on the authentication page. Once authenticated, you can create groups by chatting with the StartADAM bot. Alternatively, you can authenticate a tool you have access to (like Slack or Microsoft Teams) to create groups from there. See the above FAQ if you’re not sure whether to connect Slack or Discord.
After authenticating StartADAM Connect, you can create cross-platform communication groups by chatting with the StartADAM bot in Slack. You can then invite colleagues from various platforms like Discord, Microsoft Teams, SMS, Telegram, and even Whatsapp by sharing a link. Of course, it also works vice-versa if you are a Discord user yourself. Contact us if you need any clarification 🙂
