Slack – How to create a shareable group link
- This guide will walk you through the steps of creating a shareable group link in Slack, enabling seamless cross-platform communication with external contacts from different chat platforms.
- You’ll need to have your StartADAM client portal set up before this step. Here’s a quick guide for that.
How to set up the integration:
Tag @startadam to trigger the StartADAM bot in any Slack channel or select it from the list of apps on Slack
Select create group
- Write a name for your group
- Add details of the group or select skip
- Select get shareable link
- Now you have your group link! Share the group link with your external contacts
- Using your group link, your external contacts can connect their chat tool (Slack or WhatsApp) to communicate with you
Find the new Slack channel in your Slack workspace and start chatting with your external contacts!
